Gyeongju : one day trip ~ Part 2

we took bus back to town area and stop in front of anapji pond

ni la pond-nya.. kalau tak silap, zaman dolu2 bila banyak istana dah musnah sebab perang, derang gali tanah kat instana ni tuk cari harta karun.. dah gali2 tinggal lubang ni - jadi tasik..

there is drama filmed here.. Queen Seonduk apa tah ni.. tak tengok cerita ni.. jadi tak tau..huhu..

langkah kanan datang Gyeongju haritu.. bandar ni ada 2 festival going on that day.. this one is in the middle of town area.. can't remember the name of the festival.. but they open like 3 village of 3 different things.. 1 village is about teok- rice cake.. 1 village give you experience about ot- clothing (mostly about dye) and the other 1 is about experiencing sul - local alcohol here..

Gyeongju : one day trip

Gyeongju: The capital of Silla Kingdom/ land of open museums/ museums with no roof (!)

tak sabar nak pegi Gyeongju.. one day trip.. dari busan jalan yang paling senang dan murah nak pegi gyeongju adalah naik bas.. derang (korean) kata tak sah kalau masa sekolah dulu tak buat lawatan kat sini.. :) Gyeongju ni zaman dolu2 macam Kerajaan Melayu Melaka.. Kerajaan Melayu Melaka, jajahannya luas - pusatnya kat Melaka.. Silla ni pulak pusatnya di Gyeongju..

seronok naik bas ni.. setiap kali naik bas, perasaannya berbeza.. terlebih excited.. hehe..

from seomyeon (where we stay) :
by busan metro : seomyeon (line 1) -->; napo-dong (line 1) - 15 stesen
fare : W1,300 (29min)

napo-dong bus station situated just next to the subway station.
fare to Gyeongju : W4000 (40min - 1hr)

as soon as you out from bus station, you will find this tourist infomation centre.. the one in green there.. :) go get map and ask the lady bus number to go around gyeongju..

since this is one day trip : the places suggested by lady @ center are -
1. Bulguksa Temple
2. Gyeongju Folkcraft Village (Bulguksa and Folkcraft village situated quite far from town)
3. Anapji Pond
4. National Museum
5. All attraction places in town area

all bus will announce the station they stop.. you have to listen carefully.. because the pronunciation is a little bit tricky.. to be safe, tell the bus driver to tell you when you arrive at Bulguksa Temple.. or follow the fellow traveler if happens they want to go to the same place as you..

Folkcraft Village.. wah it fun here.. if i got more money.. i think i will exceed my luggage limit just by the things from here.. we get here buy taxi .. W4000 maybe- can remember the exact fare.

really am admire with pottery here.. most of the kedai not allowing me to take picture inside their shop.. :(

back to town area.. we stop at Anapji Pond.. in front of anapji pond, jalannya lengang !! boleh baring kat jalan..

1. busan metro fare is more expensive than seoul
2. you can use T-money but you have to recharge/reload at seoul

part 2 : First walk in Seoul ~

somewhere in insadong - ni bangunan on the way ke chyegeoncheon stream.. have fun reading hangul!! :)

tetiba ada kereta kuda lalu!.. whoaahh..

jumpa tourist information booth!! = happy.. :)

Cheongyecheon Steam.. masa ni dah jam 5..

kamera tak cukup power nak amik gambar2 cantik waktu kelam.. isk2 ( sila baca~skill tak cukup power nak amik gambar waktu kelam )nampak cathedral ni sila teruskan perjalanan anda ke dalam lorong ini.. ni dah kawasan myeongdong.. nampak sekatan jalan raya tu.. pasar malam dah nak start.. hehe.. myeongdong ni hidup waktu malam.. biasa kul 5-6 petang dah ramai orang..

waktu ni dah ramai orang.. malam sikit lagi, laaagi ramai.. lebih kurang macam petaling street zaman dolu2.. tapi lagi besar.. memang shopping heaven.. hehe.. kalau nak ikutkan ada 3 kali aku datang sini shopping barang..

sebelah kiri gambar adalah myeongdong theather - tempat nak tengok nanta.. aku tak de peluang nak tengok sebab rancangnya nak tengok kat busan.. tapi memang nak suruh aku pegi lagi la, sebabnya kat busan dah takde nanta show.. huhu..

jalan je sampai kaki penat kat sini.. takut sesat?? hmm kalau rasa nak balik, tanya je sesape kat situ ke mana arah subway.. masuk je subway mana2 pintu pun dah rasa selamat..

route to home : myeongdong (line 4) --> hyehwa ( line 4, gate 4 -sungkyunkwan university) 4 station, 7 mins..

hand cream or laser printer.. ?? for me HAND CREAM..!! sebab malam dah sejuk, angin dah berderu.. kulit kering timbul serta merta..

Delicious Banana milk

This is my favourite breakfast when i'm in korea.. Banana milk ( 바나나 맛 우유 - banana mat uyu) n tuna kimbap bought in family mart.. (mat - perisa, uyu - milk)

Now back in Malaysia.. I miss my banana milk!! Puas cari.. But it's nowhere to be found.. So, i'm making it myself..

Ingredient:
Banana - i'm using pisang emas ;))
Milk - 1 glass
Vanilla - 1-2 drops
Blend until smooth..

Sangat sedap kalau letak aiskrim vanilla.. Jadilah smootie kan.. Yummy.. Sesuai untuk sesape yang tak de selera makan atau kurang berat badan..

this is how we get here.. we think this is the most easiest way.. tak de la takut tertinggal bas atau sesat.. :)

subway route from our guesthouse
by subway : Hyewa (line 4) --> Dongdaemun (transfer line 1)--> Cheongnyangni (transfer to jungang line) -->Sangbong (transfer Gyeongchun line) --> Gapyeong
from Gapyeong Station : take taxi to Namiseom (local name of Nami Island) port.. 5 min , W4000 ~ usually taxi ajushi know already you're going to the port.. no need to explain panjang lebar.. ;p

subway route looks so complicated.. but it's not that complicated.. focus yourself to go to gapyeong station.. study subway map the day before, insya Allah sampai dengan selamat..
lagi senang if you got iphone, download siap2 korea subway map - tap aje depart station n arrive station - keluar kat mana station nak tukar ngan berenti..

prayer room in nami island : hmm i didn't see this when i was there.. maybe to mesmerize with the beautifulness of namiseom.. or just to lazy to go around all the shops.. :)) but there will always next time.. insya Allah..
